AccuScribe is the first product developed by New Wave Research specifically to support LED manufacturing. The primary design objective for AccuScribe was to reduce the cost of LED substrate scribing while improving production yield. The result is a high-throughput laser scribe system with low consumable cost that provides consistent, repeatable results. As an added benefit, its small footprint saves valuable production-area floor space. Within a few months of introduction to the LED industry, AccuScribe became a standard against which other LED scribe tools are measured.
The AccuScribe family is a field proven highly integrated laser-based wafer scribing system providing all aspects of laser control, beam delivery, sample observation, and sample manipulation under computer control.
The systems include an enhanced laser head assembly, a X-Y stage, a rotational stage, video system, optics, and electronics interface. The cart assembly includes a power supply, computer, 15-inch LCD monitor, keyboard, a sturdy cart, and cable assemblies for connecting the assemblies and subassemblies of the system.
The reliable and user-friendly Windows® XP-based software allows for quick setup and real-time display of the actual scribing operation. The "Set & Forget" software interface allows for worry-free scribing operation after the initial set-up phase.
The AccuScribe family is available in three models - the Titan, the SS40EL and the SS40HT.
